Common Ailments Scheme

We take part in the Common Ailments Scheme which mean people who don't usually have to pay for their NHS prescriptions can come and see us for their minor ailments free of charge. Simply walk into our pharmacy and ask for advice, you do not need to make an appointment.

Our staff will be able to make a diagnosis and offer you advice and treatment. Our pharmacist may decide that you need to see a doctor and refer you to your GP, with or without giving you any medicine.

Conjunctivitis

Constipation

Cough

Cystitis

Diarrhoea

Earache

Fever

Headache

Hay fever

Indigestion Insect bites/stings

Mild Eczema/dry skin

Nasal congestion

Sore throat

Sprains/strains
